Preschool Screening
CCSD 46 is offering in-person monthly screenings as part of Child Find. Child Find is an ongoing process through which all children, from birth through 21 (i.e., through the day before the student’s 22nd birthday), or who may be eligible for early intervention, or who may be in need of special education services are identified, located, and evaluated.
Families must complete and return the required documents before a screening appointment will be offered. CCSD 46 accepts screening requests for children ages 3-5 years who meet the following criteria:
- Child MUST live within CCSD 46 boundaries.
- Child MUST be three years old at the time of screening.
- Five-year-olds must have turned five AFTER September 1.

Please be advised we just started a wait list for our state funded Preschool For All program for the 2026-2027. We still have availability in our At-Risk Bilingual, Early Childhood and Community Tuition programs for the 2026-2027 school year. We will still be conducting monthly screenings as part of Child Find.
No screenings are held during the summer months.
